En ook paars is geen favoriete kleur van mij, maar als je nu alle blokken bij elkaar ziet, past het paarse blok er heel goed bij. Ik zal binnenkort eens een foto maken van alles wat tot nu toe af is. Gewoon even de camera meenemen naar de volgende club bijeenkomst in Haarlem, want daar bekijken we elkaars werk altijd voor we beginnen. Dat is geweldig inspirerend! Het is zo leuk om te zien waar iedereen mee bezig is, de verschillende stoffen te zien en de verhalen te horen.
Purple is not one of my favourite colours either, but when you see all the blocks together now, the purple block fits in so well. I will take a picture of all the blocks that are finished when we have our next meeting in Haarlem. We always have a show and tell before we start stitching. It’s really inspiring and lovely to see what everybody is working on, to see the different fabrics and to listen to the stories.
En om de feestvreugde te verhogen heb ik ook maar eens twee blokjes voor de border gemaakt en voorzien van de sashingblokjes. Langzaam aan kan ik me een voorstelling maken hoe de quilt er uit kan gaan zien.
Op naar het volgende blok, misschien wel weer een groene... !
To even have more fun I made two little border blocks and added the sashing blocks. Gradually I can picture the finished quilt. On to the next large block now, maybe another green one...!
